Broadway Revealed will bring the breadth, ambition, and showmanship of New York's iconic theater district to Scottsdale. Featuring Artist, Stephen Joseph's photographs of some of Broadway's most critically acclaimed productions, this exhibition showcases the complex network of design, lighting, directing and staging that comes together to create the magical world of theater.

Teen Summer Volunteer Program
(ages 14-17) Volunteers needed! The library is looking for friendly, energetic, responsible teens between the ages of 14-17 to assist with the 2015 Summer Reading Program and other special library projects, such as Reading Buddies. Earn volunteer credits and valuable work experience.

Pick up a volunteer application during the month of April at any Scottsdale Public Library or online: Download Your Teen Summer Volunteer Application.

Completed applications accepted April 1st – 30th only!

Space is limited at each library. If your 1st choice location fills up you may be asked to volunteer instead at your 2nd choice location.

Each session will feature a local resource professional to address any parent questions or concerns. Registration required. Registrants are expected to attend all six weeks.

Stay and Play weekly experts/topics include: Early Literacy Specialist; Pediatric Dental Specialist; Nutritionist; Behavior Specialist; Choosing Quality Child Care; Child Development Specialist; Local Resources for Parents and Caregivers; Water Safety; Car Seat Safety; Child IDs.

The Fun with Math and Science curriculum consists of 6 sessions: Session 1: Observation and Hypothesis; Session 2: Our Senses; Session 3: Sorting and Comparing; Session 4: Cause and Effect; Session 5: Patterns and Sequencing; Session 6: Geometry and Measurement.
