Full STEAM Ahead: LEGO Mindstorm

(ages 12—18) Enter the exciting world of robotics as you learn to build and program LEGO robots using working motors and sensors with a partner. 

Registration is required.  Register once for the first session on January 22nd and your child will be registered for the entire series of classes.  Drops-ins will be accommodated each week as space allows.  To ensure a consistent and quality learning experience, participants should plan to attend each weekly session throughout the series.

Fun with Math and Science

(ages 3-5 / 45 min / limit 18 children) Explore math and science concepts in an interactive, playful way! Based on the Arizona Early Learning standards for math and science, this 6-week course will explore concepts and introduce strategies to use with your child to help build and strengthen their mathematical and scientific thinking skills. Registrants are expected to attend all 6 weeks. *Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be cancelled.

The Fun with Math and Science curriculum consists of 6 sessions:
Session 1: Exploration and Our 5 Senses
Session 2: Counting and Comparing
Session 3: Geometry and Identifying Attributes
Session 4: Sorting and Classifying through Investigation
